Obituary

Damon James McAnally, 53, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2018. Damon was born in Ruislip, England and moved to Fort Worth, Texas as a young child. He was a 1983 graduate of Western Hills High School in Fort Worth, Texas, who later attended college at Tarrant County College. Damon was a gifted multi-sport athlete who met his wife, Cindy, on a softball field. While he ran a successful business, Damon believed his greatest achievement was being a loving dad to his son Timothy and a surrogate father to a number of wonderful young people. He was a kind, caring and generous man whose love and friendship were cherished by all who were fortunate enough to be blessed by it.

Damon James McAnally is survived by his spouse of 26 years, Cynthia Hill and his beloved son, Timothy McAnally of Fort Worth, TX; mother, Mai McAnally of Fort Worth, TX; sister, Kelley Bloodworth of Bedford, TX; uncle and aunt, Bruce and Phyllis McAnally; in-laws, Robert and Donna Hill of Mobile, AL; sister-in-law, Debby Durden (Roger) of Magnolia, TX; sister-in-law, Tina Evans (Richard) of Richmond, TX; nephews Cody, James and Atticus; nieces Michelle and Georgia Ann and countless other loving relatives, both here and in England. Damon is also survived by the many cherished friends whose lives he enriched.

Per his last wishes no formal funeral services will be held, though family and friends will gather to celebrate his life. A private memorial will be held in the Big Bend area, the place that Damon loved the most. In lieu of flowers or gifts it is requested that we honor his memory by supporting the charity closest to our hearts
