Gregory Lynn Wilson, of Arlington, Texas, passed away at age 58 on November 26, 2018 after a brief illness. He was born on December 21, 1959 in Clinton, Oklahoma, to Martha Dean Wilson and the late Carl McKaye Wilson. Gregory was the beloved husband of Barbara Reed Wilson and loving father to sons Ian McKaye Wilson and Andre Carlos Wilson, and stepdaughter Cindi Moon Reed.

Greg was known for his lively sense of humor, love of life and boundless generosity. He cherished family and friends, embraced the outdoors and explored countless creative hobbies. To the delight of all, Greg was always ready to feed a crowd with his delicious recipes.

Greg is survived by sisters, Bonnie McCaig and Katie Hubbard; parents-in-law Bill and Ann Rushing and their children Jim and Sue Rushing and Brenda and Billy Fosmire; nieces Raechal Evett, Abby Johnson, Bailey Acosta, Sophie Caudle, Kendall Kalldin and Keeley Hubbard; nephews Bryce Johnson and Wyatt Hubbard. A dear friend to all, Greg was especially close to Greg Biggs and the late Ed G. Brant. He is also survived by his first wife Diana Trimarchi, her parents Jose and Ana Pacheco, and family members Wilma, Rafa, Ruben, Laura, Ricardo and Olivia Toraño.

Greg was a jack-of-all-trades and modern-day renaissance man. Handy and naturally charming, he excelled as a salesman and a landscaper, working for the Arlington Parks, UTA, and, most recently, selling Armored Closet tornado shelters.

He enjoyed fishing and kayaking; cooking and gardening; making jewelry, leather goods and furniture; customizing bikes and restoring cars; playing harmonica; watching sports and finding silly gifts for friends and family.

He was a member of Westside Presbyterian Church and a home group leader at Pantego Bible Church. He was a member of Arlington Area Street Rods, and a volunteer at Sherrod Elementary Beach Club. He graduated from Lamar High School in 1978.

Those who wish may donate in Gregory's name to Westside Presbyterian Church Benevolence Fund.

All are welcome to attend the Celebration of Love and Life on Saturday, December 1 at 3 p.m. at Westside Presbyterian Church, 8700 Chapin Road, Fort Worth, Texas, 76116. There will be a service followed by a reception.
