Susan Jeanine Clark Tune, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on September 7, 2018 at the age of 61 years. She was born in Houston, TX on January 23, 1957 to Billy Clark and Jeanine Gilbert Clark. She earned a bachelor’s degree of Business Administration from Northwood University in Cedar Hill, Texas and an associate’s degree from Tarrant County College in Fort Worth. Susan was part of Phi Theta Kappa National Honors Society. She was honored to receive a Texas Parent Teacher Association Lifetime Membership Award, Outstanding Leader of the Year Award, Circle T Girl Scout Council, and Lucy Griffin Family Involvement Award for outstanding contributions to Girl Scouts. She loved traveling; especially to Galveston Beach and wineries. She enjoyed relaxing with some red wine and a sunset, drinking coffee on the patio during rainy days, and taking pictures of beaches. She would argue that red wine shouldn’t be served at room temperature because it’s hot in Texas so hers was always refrigerated. Susan was a Girl Scout and stayed prepared for every situation. For example, she once treated a tropical storm in Galveston to mimosas from the balcony at San Luis; a memory she truly enjoyed revisiting. In 2009 a beautiful baby girl made Susan a grandma. Seven years later, a Tune baby boom, if you will, gave her three more grandchildren in under a year, and her latest this past July. She was a devoted, attentive, and loving grandma to all five of her grand babies.
Susan Jeanine Clark Tune is survived by Warren Tune, the father of her children, and by Mike Sartain, her boyfriend. She is also survived by her children; Stephen Tune, Marissa Yamada, Jeffrey Tune, and Rebecca Eggebrecht, as well as extended family and cherished friends.
