Julee Bowen Hornisher was born on November 24th, 1962 in Titusville Florida. She passed away on Friday July 13th, 2018 at the age of 55. Julee worked for over 30 years as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer and Radiographer. She enjoyed working, cooking, traveling, painting, going to the casino, and most importantly spending time with family and loved ones. Julee was pure at heart, a kind and loving soul who always had a smile on her face. She never met a stranger, and if Julee didn’t like you, there was DEFINITELY something wrong with you! Julee could be described as hard working and hard headed. As much as she loved the people around her, she could also curl up with her cats and a good book by the fire and be just fine. Julee was often described as one of the smartest people in the room but was humble enough not to show it off. She lived her life for her family and friends and could only be described as fiercely loyal to those she loved. Julee loved her children more than could ever be put into words. Of all her accomplishments, being a mom was what she was most proud of. Her smile, laughter and wit will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Julee was preceded in death by her Mother, Patsy R. Bowen and survived by her daughters: Sarah M. Hornisher, Melissa B. Hornisher and her son, William T. Hornisher. Julee was also survived by her father, Cecil E. Bowen and brothers: Scott E. Bowen and Dwight A. Bowen.

I am so sorry for your loss of Julee!! We had only been around each other’s a few times but we had gotten to know each other better on Facebook. Her personality was so witty and I laughed out loud so often reading her things! She focused so much on the love of her children! I wish I had known her better! Praying for your peace and strength!
